IV. From the history of studying the mausoleum of Amir Temur.

This catalog is dedicated to the exhibition “The history of the study of the Mausoleum of Amir Temur”, created at the State Museum of Cultural History of Uzbekistan, and is intended for historians, museum figures, art historians and the general public. In total, the catalog contains more than 60 exhibits that are associated with Amir Timur and the Timurid dynasty. In addition, the catalog presents the history of the construction of the mausoleum of Amir Temur, its condition at the time of construction, events related to the mausoleum that occurred in different periods of history. We hope that this catalog, published by the staff of the Samarkand State Museum-Reserve on the eve of the 686 th anniversary of the birth of Amir Temur, will appeal to everyone.
