    a museum was first established in Samarkand in 1874.
    The Samarkand Museum was developed as one of the
    largest scientific organizations in Uzbekistan,
    and on July 21, 1896, the museum was officially opened.

(only Saturday and Sunday are days off for museum researchers.)
