II. The History of the writing in Central Asia

This catalog includes written works on history, geography, medicine, literature stored in the funds of the State Museum-Reserve “Samarkand”, as well as works on Hadith studies, rare small and large copies of the Holy Quran, the work of Nizami Ganjavi "Hamsa". Qazvini's book "Ajoib-ul-mahlukot va garoib ul-mavzhudod". The first volume of Al-Konun fit-Tib by Abu Ali Ibn Sina. There are Sogdian letters written on wood, leather, ceramics, unique inscriptions in the Arabic alphabet on coins, prayers to ceramics written in Persian-Arabic script, samples of seals, rings, land transactions and the distribution of hereditary land. These exhibits were selected for display in the exhibition “The History of writing in Central Asia”, organized at the State Museum of the History of Culture of Uzbekistan.
