Tarjima : /1/ "Shoh qachon Avarxuman (nasldan?) Unashu (yoki unshu ?) unga /2/ yaqinlashdi, (elchi) og'zini ochdi, (shunday dedi): "men / 3 – chag’an dipрrpat Pкkar (yoki Pӯgar?)- zatak. Men bu erga /4/ chag’an podshohi Turāntashdan, /5/ Smārkansga, podshohga, /6-7/ va shohga hurmat bilan (hozir) keldim (bu erda). /8 /va men haqimda hech qanday qo'rquv (yoki shubha) yo'q – / 9 /smarkan xudolari haqida, shuningdek/ 10 /o (smarkan) yozuvi men juda yaxshi bilaman,/ 11-12 / va men shohga hech qanday zarar etkazmadim. / 13 / butunlay xavfsiz bo'ling!"/14/ va Shoh Avarxuman (nasldan?) Ushbu sug'diy yozuv matnidan ko'rinib turibdiki, podshoh Avarxuman Samarqandga kelgan elchilarni qabul qilish paytida (650-655 yillarda?) Chag’aniyon elchixonasi boshlig'iga yaqinlashdi va u xush kelibsiz nutq so'zladi. Bu vaqtda Chaganian mustaqil mulk sifatida qaraldi, uning markazi, ehtimol, Denau shahridan 6 km janubi-g'arbda joylashgan Budrach tepaligida joylashgan edi. VII asr o'rtalarida ko'plab diniy g'alayonlardan omon qolgan sug'diyliklar asosan zardushtiylikka sodiq qolishdi. Chag’an elchisi (Pukarzoda) Samarqand shohini o'z mamlakatining dinini targ'ib qilmasligiga va Baqtriya yozuvini amalga oshirmasligiga ishontirishni o'z burchi deb bildi, ehtimol u Chagan qiroli Turantashdan Avarxumanga xabar olib kelgan. Tadqiqotchilar yozuvlarda, rasmlarda bo'lgani kabi, Samarqand tarixining haqiqiy voqealari va Samarqand shohi Sug’dning O'rta Osiyoning boshqa mintaqalari hukmdorlari bilan munosabatlari aks etgan degan xulosaga kelishdi – bu voqealar batafsil qayd etilgan, ehtimol Samarqand shahar xronikasida yoki boshqa xronikalarda rasmiy xarakterga ega bo'lgan yoki haqiqiy hujjatlarga asoslangan.
