Nodir Devonbegi madrasasi XVII asrning 1630-1635-yillarida Buxoro xonligining devonbegisi Nodir Mirzo Tog`ay Sulton tomonidan qurdirilgan. Madrasa Xoja Ahrori Valiy maqbarasi yonida qurilganligi uchun Xoja Ahrori Valiy madrasasi , deb ham yuritiladi. Xoja Ubaydullox Ahrori Valiy Toshkent viloyatining Bo`stonliq tumanida 1404-yilda dunyoga kelgan va 895 hijriy yilning rajab oyi ( 1490-yil fevral oyining 21 kuni) da Urgut tumani hududidagi bir qishloqda vafot etadi. U kishining tabarruk jasadlari Samarqand tumanidagi Xoja Kavshiy ( Hozirgi Xoja Ahror) mozoriga olib kelinib, dafn etiladi. Keyinchalik bu mozorda uning yaqinlari shogirdlari ham dafn etilgan. Madrasaning aynan shu manzilda barpo qilinishi sababi – uning to`rida Xoja Ahrori Valiyning xonaqoxlari mavjud bo`lgan. Mazkur madrasaning shu qo`rg`onda barpo etilishi Nodir Mirzo Tog`ay ibn Sultonnnig Xoja Ahrori Valiyga bo`lgan cheksiz hurmati belgisi , deb ham tushunmoq mumkin. Nodir Devonbegi madrasasi loyihasini ishlatishda Registon maydonidagi Sherdor madrasasining ko`rinishidan ijobiy foydalanilgan.
